How to set shortcuts for special characters

1. Go to Settings > Shortcuts and under Custom Shortcuts for special characters, click Add new.

2. Click the keyboard icon next to the text box and choose a special character for which you wish to set a shortcut.

3. Type in your preferred keystroke combination for the selected special character. Click OK to confirm your choice. Then Save your settings to close the window.

Now you can use this keyboard shortcut to insert the special character of your choice.
